These terms cover this website and the Aetās waitlist. They are short because the waitlist is short: you leave an email address, and you get told when the app is ready.
What the waitlist is
Aetās has not been released. Joining the waitlist reserves your place in line for early access. It is not a purchase, not a subscription, and not a contract to supply software. No payment is taken and no payment details are collected.
The early access offer
The first 100 people on the waitlist receive one year of Aetās at no cost. The specifics:
- Position is set by the time your address is recorded on the server, in the order received. Positions are permanent and are not affected by later signups or by re-submitting the form.
- One per person. Multiple addresses belonging to the same person count as one position, and duplicates may be removed.
- The year runs from the date you redeem it, not from the date you joined the list. If you never redeem it, it expires.
- Aetās is an iPhone app. Redeeming requires an Apple ID and a device running a supported version of iOS, in a region where the App Store carries Aetās.
- The offer is personal and cannot be transferred, resold, or exchanged for money.
- If Aetās is never released, the offer lapses and nothing is owed to anyone. You will be told directly if that happens.
No release date has been promised. Aetās is being built by one person, and the honest position is that it ships when it is good enough to ship. You will not be emailed in the meantime except when there is something real to report.
Emails you will receive
Joining the list means agreeing to receive occasional email about Aetās: a confirmation, a small number of build updates, and an invitation when the app is ready. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list and forfeits the position. What happens to your address is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Using this site
The text, design, imagery, and name Aetās belong to the developer. Please do not copy the site or present it as your own. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, submit addresses that are not yours, or automate signups.
The screens shown on this site illustrate a product still in development. Final behaviour, wording, and appearance may differ.
The research referenced
The studies cited on this site informed the design of Aetās. None of them tested Aetās itself. Nothing on this site should be read as a claim that Aetās is proven to reduce screen time, and nothing here is medical or psychological advice.
Liability
This site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for loss arising from use of the site or from the waitlist. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights you may have where you live.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated. If a change materially affects the early access offer, everyone on the list will be emailed before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of North Macedonia. Questions go to contact@theaetas.app.
